Mid-February, chances are, most of you are probably getting a bad case of spring fever, especially if you live in the northern states and have snow and below freezing temperatures for the fourth month in a row! No matter where you live you have probably thought about various ways you can spruce up your outdoor living spaces to make them more enjoyable, relaxing, beautiful, entertaining etc.
There are many ways to ‘beautify’ your spaces, some expensive, some affordable and others, a combination of both. Chances are if you spend any amount of time outdoors you already have comfy chairs, probably a patio table, deck, patio or outdoor sitting area. How can you accent these areas to compliment what you have or to bring life to these areas with more than just flowers?
A couple things that are commonly used and affordable are outdoor fountains and fire pits. Both bring life and uniqueness to a space and both will bring you relaxing joy as you wind down at the end of your day or as you entertain guests in your outdoor areas.
First lets talk fountains. Outdoor fountains come in so many styles, sizes and materials that you are sure to find the perfect accent to your space. Whether it is a large cast stone fountain for a large patio or a lightweight fiberglass fountain that is easy to move, there really is something for every area including your deck, patio and gardens. If electricity is a problem, try a solar powered fountain. Solar fountains have a solar panel that can sit in the optimum sun position up to 10 feet away from the fountain itself. Better yet, not only do fountains provide beauty, they also produce soothing water sounds to make you enjoy outdoors even more, they truly do bring life to your spaces.
Fire pits offer another affordable outdoor accent. They are perfect for a quiet night at home to wind down and warm up next to or great for that outdoor party too. They present the perfect conversation piece and a great place to gather. You will find stone fire pits, copper firepits and many other styles and sizes to fit your space. A fire pit is truly an easy addition to your outdoor spaces.
